The tool called the IPOMO (Interactive Platform On Mobile) Campus features a learning, assessment, and administration platform. The app helps the colleges in handling internal assessment, marking attendance, profiling students and announcing results.
The tool also helps in career guidance and counseling. The company charges Rs. 400 per student per year for the application, the cost of which is transferred to the students.

Anuradha, Principal, Maharani Lakshmi Ammani College said about the mobile app, "We launched the application in July. We have given our lecturers cell phones loaded with the relevant database. The new system is down-to-earth and has reduced our anxieties. Now, we don't have to compile students' records every month. Moreover, it has considerably improved their attendance in the class."

On the students' part, they need to install the IPOMO Teachmate software in their handsets. The application also allows them to take mock tests.
