 Nokia X2-02 was unveiled globally for the first time in India. The phone's dimensions are 113 x 50 x 15 mm and it weighs 93 gram including the battery. The display is 2.2-inch, 240x320 pixels, and it comes with a 2-megapixel camera. 

 Mobile maker Nokia has stepped into the tablet market by announcing its first windows 8 tablet to be launched in June 2012.

Paul Amsellem, head of Nokia France, said, "In June 2012 we will have a tablet running windows 8." He also mentioned updates about Nokia's plans for the Windows Phone smartphone platform as well and we can soon expect Nokia to launch powerful, smarter smartphones under the Nokia Lumia product range.

Nokia Lumia 800 - the first Nokia Windows Phone! Stephen Elop actually went so far as calling it "the first real Windows Phone". The Nokia Lumia 710 is the second Nokia Windows Phone and what makes it different is its affordability paired with nearly the same guts as the Nokia Lumia 800. The Lumia 710 also comes with a 3.7" display, exchangeable back covers for distinct looks, but the body itself will come in black and white. The processor is clocked at 1.4GHz, but you also have hardware acceleration and the very same GPU as the one in the Lumia 800.

Nokia will unveil its Windows phone in India before March 2012 as a part of its global launch of handsets based on the new Windows operating system.

Speaking to Economic Times, Nokia India's managing director D Shivkumar said, "Work for the Windows phone is on track and it would be launched in the first quarter of next year."

Finnish phone maker Nokia announced the launch of two budget range mobile phones Nokia 101 and Nokia 100. Both the models run on Series 30 operating system. Nokia 101 is a Dual-SIM mobile phone comes with an Mp3 player. Other things remain same with both the models.


Nokia 101/100 can support up to five separate address books and maintains personalization details for up to five different SIM cards. The device designed with a small screen which displays the icons in grid format. Nokia 101 comes with an external memory slot which allows the user to add up to 16GB MicroSD card. However, the device doesn't meant for a versatile profile.
