Sony Ericsson is gearing up to launch its first superphone – a Dual-core android icecream sandwich based 4.3 inch handset – called Sony Ericsson Nozomi . Nozomi is a japanese word and means hope or wish. May be sony ericsson is hoping to shaking the market with the launch of this handset. Not much details are available about this handset. But a small tech-community
in china apparently have information regarding this handset. According to them [it168.com], Sony Ericsson Nozomi will have 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 12 MP Camera with Exmor R Sensor, 32GB Internal memory, micro-SIM Slot (wonder why?), 4.3 inch screen with a supreme resolution of 1280x720 pixels giving this handset the title of “Smartphone screen with highest pixel density – 342 ppi”. Apple iPhone – the current title retainer has a display resolution of 960x640 pixels at a pixel density of 326 ppi. The smartphone will be powered by a 1750 mAH battery. Nozomi will compete to become one of the first handsets to run on Android icecream sandwich operating system (also known as Android 4.0). Icecream sandwich is a milestone version since google is trying to bring an operating system that can provide a consistent experience on smartphones as well as on tablets. Just like iOS 4!
