tips to improve your mobiles battery life

Hi All...

Everyone one of us would surely face a situation in which we are left with very minimum Battery life in our mobile... those are the times in which we direly need every few inch of the battery to perform to the best ... Most of the times it will... but we can also, on our side, help those little battery to live a little longer...here are the few tips to achieve it...

Cut Off Those Extra`s

WE always one way or the another use various extra`s from the mobile feature list such as GPS, GPRS ,3G,EDGE, etc... but you can switch them off... for time being...till you exit out of that crisis situation, Its always better to focus on the main part of the mobile... the CALL function than the others during the periods where are we are all out there only with those mobile`s. Remember this suggestion is not for the people who should be ONLINE all the times.,
But do remember switching off these EXTRA Feature can save nearly half of the remaining battery life.

Brightness! Brightness !

Yes.. this is one of the important part where all the battery life is nearly spent on.. and if you are a message addict / email craze / Hardcore Gamer then surely .. you will be using the screen for most of the times.
This is where our tip comes... Just reduce the screen brightness to nearly the lowest and save nearly 75% of the remaining !..END of the TOPIC!!!

Vibrating Factor

We all nearly use vibrator without knowing, cause its just another COOL feature !!!! . NO!!! it isnt . And its really a power hungry beast !!!

Turn off the vibrator to simply give the battery another hour to last..
This is really important as most of the phones which are launched in recent years have default vibrator activated along with silent mode , so do remember to switch off the vibrator.

Volume Level

Unless you are in a heavy traffic or a place where you cant hear anything... put the volume in high. Or else, better reduce it to half or even less than it. It does save huge battery life.

Dont Restart...

Avoid restarting the phone too often as it can severely hamper the battery life.. Startup usually requires quite a amount of battery and few latest models have a CHECKS, ie initial checks of various components , which takes loads of battery..Less you restart, more chance of running through the the crisis situation

ShutDown Music

Yes I hear many say " NO WAY , I AM GONNA STOP HEARING TO MUSIC "

Well there are two ways to take this... , latest models do tend to minimize the battery usage during music playback, but the second thing is , on the long run, it does reduce battery , and we are not talking about how to save , its about how you survive through it...so please shut it down...
same thing goes to watching movies, remember one thing though, watching videos also takes the screen battery usage along with it .. so faster drainage of battery...

Remeber the alternatives

Always remember the alternative way to charging your phone. For example today`s most of the mobile phones are rechargeable through data cable ie USB, so if you happen to have a usb charger or a laptop, just hook it and recharge it...

CODES For Help :(works only for some mobiles)

Here is a secret code for nokia phones to increase battery life by 30%
" *#3370# - Enhanced Full Rate Codec (EFR) activation. Increase signal strength, better signal reception. It also help if u want to use GPRS and the service is not responding or too slow. Phone battery will drain faster though.

*#3370* - (EFR) deactivation. Phone will automatically restart. Increase battery life by 30% because phone receives less signal from network. "

Hope this helps you in the much needed times...
Todays phone tend to drain within a day and people who simply are on a long journey or have forgotten his/her charger , are left with no option in the middle of this situation.. So to these people may this small article come in handy..
