Sony Ericsson gets a new Android 2.3.4 updates for the Xperia play and Arc devices
When Sony Ericsson announced the Xperia Play, the handset was criticized for its seemingly outdated single-core processor, and lack of 720p HD video recording among other issues.
Now, Sony Ericsson gets a new Android 2.3.4 updates for the Xperia play and Arc devices. Aside from getting the updates from 2.3.4 Gingerbread, brings in 720p HD video recording capability with continuous autofocus.
While other features for Xperia Play and Xperia Arc remain the same, Google Talk with Video Chat, 3D Sweet Panorama in Camera Mode, Swipe to type and better Facebook integration will come to the devices with this update.
This Gingerbread update has been rolled out for Europe and is expected for rest of the world through the desktop based software update tool.
