Jelly Bean Update for Motorola


 Motorola has published a list of devices which are eligible for Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update in there forum blog.


The complete list can be spotted in the Motorola’s forum blog. The list contains Motorola smartphones which will be updated on a monthly basis. Motorola is also offering $100 rebate to those people who will not be receiving the Jelly Bean update as part of the company’s trade up program.



The company also stated that the discount will be offered in the form of a Motorola Visa Prepaid Card, Verizon Wireless Gift Card, carrier credit, or other equivalent at Motorola's discretion. Motorola also mentions that the rebate offer is only applicable on the trade-in of eligible devices. This program is applicable only for sales of Android Motorola smartphones in U.S.


The smartphone which are getting Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update are Droid Razr M, Razr HD and Razr Mazz HD by this year end and the Droid Razr and Droid Razt Maxx which already got Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update in the mid of this year will also get Jelly Bean update.


The Motorola Xoom tablet will also get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update in the U.S. The company did not reveal the update schedule for other regions.
