HTC's Sensation XL with Beats Audio Experience and 8mp camera




The once speculated HTC Runnymede is now dubbed and unveiled as HTC Sensation XL. The device comes with Beats Audio experience and was unpacked at London Beats event. As far as the HTC Sensation XL is concerned we can simply say, this clearly matches with the recently announced HTC Sensation XE special edition. However, there could a slight variation if we investigate further deeper.

HTC Sensation XL packed with a gigantic 4.7-inch WVGA display and covered with Corning Gorilla Glass.The device powered with Single-core 1.5 Ghz Qualcomm processor and coupled with 768 MB RAM and 16 GB internal memory. On the rear side the device comes fixed with 8.0 Megapixel camera with F2.2 lens, dual LED flash, and BSI sensor for better low-light captures. The camera is capable of recording videos at 720p HD quality. Further, the device comes with a 1.3 Megapixel camera placed on the front side for self-portrait capturing or making video calls. Sensation XL is a sleek phone comes in a 9.9mm premium design.

The new HTC Sensation XL comes pre-loaded with Android OS v2.3 Gingerbread and comes with HTC Sense UI 3.5. Since, the device theme packed with Beats Audio, it comes with beats goodies like urBeats headphones with a line-in remote and microphone specially designed for this smartphone. Sensation XL comes with special Beats Audio profile which leaps into action when the user connects the urBeats headphones to the device. The great combination of HTC and Beats for a greater sound quality experience.






HTC Sensation XL comes with connectivity features like BluetoothŽ 3.0 with A2DP for wireless stereo headsets and PBAP for phonebook access from the car kit. Also comes with Wi-FiŽ: IEEE 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA for wirelessly streaming media from the phone to your TV or computer, Standard micro-USB (5-pin micro-USB 2.0) and GPS for Navigation. The device entitled for Europe and Asian markets and works with GSM and HSPA/WCDMA network signals. HTC Sensation XL is expected to arrive by early November.
