Nokia 700 - the smallest smartphone in the world

The new Nokia 700 is the finest design comes with 110 x 50.7 x 9.7mm in size and weighs 96 grams which better suits every pocket. Though the device looks skinny, it is well versed and power packed to be a modern smartphone. Nokia 700 offers a pentaband radio and transfers 3G data up to HSUPA level. The device powered with 1Ghz processor and comes with 2GB of user memory. Nokia 700 incorporates Bluetooth, FM radio, Wi-Fi and GPS. The device comes with a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and full focus. The external memory slot can accommodate a MicroSD card up to 32GB. The device compromised with NFC communication for payments and file transfers. Nokia claims that the device is the greenest phone from the company till the date. They says, the device is constructed with bio-plastics, recycled plastics and recycled metals and it’s free of pollutants like PVC, RFR and BFR.  The AMOLED screen coupled with ambient light sensor and power-save mode promises to be environmental friendly and the device can be recycled 100% at any time.


The Nokia 700 is expected to be priced around EUR 270 without local taxes or operator subsidies. It will be made available in grey, silver/white, coral red, peacock blue and purple varieties starting from third quarter of 2011.
