Nokia 701 - the brightest screen in the world



Here comes the new Nokia 701 offering an excellent graphics performance with a refreshed UI. The Nokia 701 is designed with the brightest screen the world ever seen and also offers a pretty good battery life. Like the other two devices, Nokia 701 is also powered with 1Ghz processor and runs on Symbian Belle OS. The device boasts with 3.5-inch IPS LCD display with ClearBlack technology, creating a great combination of excellent brightness and contrast. The screen emits the highest NIT's and titled to be the brightest smartphone screen to date. The screen covered with Corning® Gorilla® Glass which is constant and sturdier.

Nokia 701 sports an 8.0 Megapixel full focus camera with a dual-LED flash and also a front facing camera. The device holds an 8GB of user memory and with a provision of external memory slot which allows a 32GB MicroSD card. This smartphone comes with all essential functionality including 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and NFC. The standard battery comes along with the device can fetch up to 17 hours of talktime over GSM or up to 550 hours on standby (8.8/504h over 3G).

The Nokia 701 comes in steel dark, silver light, amethyst violet, and white variations. It is expected to be shipped in the third quarter of 2011 for EUR 290 before local taxes and operator subsidies
