HTC Quattro Tablet specifications

Korean electronics giant HTC is working on its third major Google Android OS based tablet, currently codenamed as HTC Quattro. There is no hint about the release and price of the tablet but is expected it to be shown next year.

The HTC Quattro will come with quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 mobile processor which will power its Android operating system. It will come with 10.1 inch touchscreen display with 1280x768 pixel resolution. Under the slim chassis of the HTC Quattro, the quad-core processor will rest with 1 GB memory.

The Quattro will come with 16 GB storage. Besides that, it will feature Bluetooth 4.0 which would not have much of practical use unless supporting devices join the ecosystem. HTC also plans to put the Beats Audio technology in this tablet with a pair of speakers and good quality microphones.

The rear camera would be merely two-megapixel while the front-facing camera would be 1.3 megapixels for video chat. Quattro will be the company's third tablet that will succeed the HTC Flyer and HTC Jetstream. The HTC Quattro would be one of the several quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 running tablets in the competition but the pricing and the Android version will make a difference.
